Already registered in LUCID? Non-EU sellers must add a German authorised representative by 12 November 2026. Fix it in 5 days →

Packaging compliance for US consumer brands

Sell in Germany without your listings getting blocked.

Fixed-fee, English-language help with LUCID, your German authorised representative and the new EU packaging rules (PPWR) — for brands selling on Amazon.de, Shopify or their own store. You stay the filer. I do the groundwork.

Sound familiar?

“My Amazon.de listing was deactivated — missing LUCID number.”
“My LUCID number shows valid, but Amazon still rejects it.”
“Do I even count as the producer if I sell through a reseller or dropship?”
“Everything is in German, and the fines go up to €200,000.”

Since 12 August 2026, the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR) and Germany's new packaging act (VerpackDG) apply. Non-EU sellers shipping to German consumers now need a German authorised representative, and marketplaces must verify your registration.

What I do — and what I don't

I do

Data collection, registration walkthroughs, provider comparison and onboarding, Amazon setup, document templates and evidence folders, project management.

I don't

Legal advice, binding assessments of your legal status, representing you before authorities, acting as your authorised representative. Where a question needs a lawyer, I bring in a German Rechtsanwalt.

Denis Celik — your one point of contact.

MBA, former retail manager at Lululemon, four years in the US. German, English, Portuguese. You work with me directly, not a junior team.

FAQ

Do I need a German authorised representative?

If you are based outside Germany, have no German establishment and ship packaged goods directly to German consumers: yes, since 12 August 2026. Sellers already registered in LUCID must add one by 12 November 2026.

Can you register in LUCID for me?

No. The registration has to be done by your company. I prepare everything and guide you through it live, so it usually takes under an hour.

Why not just use a cheap authorised-representative service?

You should — I help you choose one. What those services don't do is collect your packaging data, set up LUCID and Amazon correctly, or build your PPWR documentation. That's the gap these packages fill.

What does compliance cost on top of your fee?

LUCID registration is free. Dual-system licences start at roughly €40 per year for small volumes; authorised representatives at roughly €55–250 per year per country. You pay providers directly.

What if I have more than 10 SKUs?

Choose the Compliance Sprint (up to 15 SKUs) or request a quote for larger ranges.

Is this legal advice?

No. It's operational compliance support. Binding legal advice comes from a German Rechtsanwalt, whom I can involve where needed.
